Job summary

BizLink Technology (S.E.A.) Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia seeks a procurement/planning professional to manage PO reviews, production scheduling, and material planning to meet delivery dates. You will release work orders, coordinate with buyers on raw materials, and monitor WIP to ensure timely production.

The role requires strong negotiation, cross-functional collaboration, and SAP proficiency. Mandarin fluency is preferred to interact with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a procurement or planning role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in using SAP and data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Degree in Supply Chain Management or any related field.
• Candidates who are fluent in Mandarin are preferred because the role requires candidates to interact with Mandarin-speaker.

Responsibilities

• Review customer Purchase Orders and coordinate with Sales to commit delivery dates.
• Release Work Orders upon receiving Sales Order Details from Sales Department.
• Provide Production Schedule to production.
• Update Material Shortage Report; advise quantity order requests and work with Buyer for raw material delivery dates.
• Issue Material Issue Notes to Warehouse to prepare materials for Production.
• Ensure Work Orders are completed timely; monitor material fulfillment and WIP utilization.
• Plan and monitor production to meet customer requirements and delivery dates.
• Resolve issues from raw material issuance; address excess usage and prevent recurrence.
• Do not create Work Orders if there is no Sales Order.
• Do not accept customer pulls if there is full capacity or production on hold due to ECN or Non-Conformance.

Job description

• To be responsible in reviewing customer Purchase Order and commit Sales Department for the delivery date in Sales Order Detail.
• To be responsible in release Work Order upon receive Sales Order Detail from Sales Department.
• To be responsible provide Production Schedule to production.
• To be responsible in updating Material Shortage Report, advise quantity order request and work closely with Buyer for raw material delivery date.
• To be responsible in issuing Material Issue Note ( MIN ) to Warehouse for preparing material for Production.
• To ensure work orders are completed in a timely, accurate manner. Monitor materials fulfillment and WIP utilization.
• To be responsible in implementing production planning and monitoring production output in order to meet customers requirement and delivery date.
• To be responsible and solved any issue arising from issuance of raw material. The Material Control shall resolve any excess issue, investigate the reasons for excess issues and create systems to minimize recurrence.
• Authorized not to create work order if no Sales Order.
• Authorized to not accepted customer pull in if full capacity and on hold production line if receive notice ECN or Non-Conformance.
