Job summary

Grand Venture Technology is seeking a Demand/Forecast Planner to translate customer orders into capacity plans, aligning production with raw materials for timely delivery. You will release and track schedules to maximize machine utilization and compare plan vs actual output.

Responsibilities include analyzing forecast changes, preparing weekly management reports, and developing and maintaining material plans and ERP-based systems to support efficient warehouse operations in a precision machining

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics or engineering field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in precision machining environment (preferred).
• Knowledge of ERP systems is a plus.
• Able to work under pressure with minimal supervision and with high accuracy.

Job description

Analyze demand/forecast order from customer to determine required capacity.

Make sure that the production plan is aligned with raw material to maximum efficiency in order to timely delivered products to customers' place.

Release and ensure proper production plan schedule in order to fully utilize existing machine to their optimum and track plan versus actual output.

Responsible for analyze forecast changes order from customers.

Analyze and prepare weekly / periodic reports for management.

To determine what, when and how much to order for raw materials based on sales forecast.

Develop material plan to meet customer's demands.

Develop and maintain material planning system.

Oversee and manage daily operations of various warehouse activities including planning, directing, controlling and coordinating.

Handle special projects as assigned.

ERP, Epicor or Planning Advance System

Requirements:

Degree / Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics/Engineering related field

Minimum 3 years of working experience in precision machining environment will be preferred

Knowledgeable ERP System Software will be an advantage

Resourceful in problem solving

A team player with Good interpersonal and communication skill

Able to work under pressure with minimum supervision

Meticulous with high accuracy in work submitted.
