Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan Minde Group Sdn Bhd is seeking a Production Planner to manage schedules and coordinate with sales, operations, inventory, and production teams in Penang. You will input forecasts into ERP, track progress, and ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires a Diploma or Degree in a related field with at least 3 years of planning experience, strong communication skills, and a basic understanding of production processes. This is a full-time on-site position in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Management or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a related planner role.
• ERP knowledge and understanding of production processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare production schedules based on sales projections, inventory status, production capacity, and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align planning with customer requirements.
• Schedule orders with production leads and allocate resources.
• Match production plans with raw material availability and forecasts.
• Oversee inventory of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
• Update ERP with forecasts and orders, generate shop orders, monitor progress, and prepare shipping documents and invoices.
• Plan and coordinate shipments.
• Conduct KPI monitoring and analysis to review production plan outcomes and improve performance.
• Manage the timing and implementation of ECOs.

Job Description

• Comprehend manufacturing workflows and prepare production schedules based on sales projections, inventory status, production capacity, and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver schedules also to align planning with customer requirements.
• Work alongside production HODs and supervisors to schedule orders and allocate resources.
• Match production plans with raw material availability, considering customer orders, forecasts, and supervise the entire production process.
• Oversee inventory management of raw materials, work-in-progress, and end-products.
• Update and manage the ERP system by inputting forecasts and orders, generating shop orders, monitoring production progress, and preparing shipping documents and invoices.
• Plan and coordinate shipments.
• Conduct weekly, monthly, and annual KPI monitoring and analysis also review production plan outcomes to enhance performance.
• Manage the timing and implementation of Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
