Job summary

Engtek Group in Malaysia seeks a capable planner responsible for production and capacity planning based on customer orders and forecasts. The role includes creating purchase requests and orders for direct materials, preparing weekly and monthly production schedules, and coordinating overtime for optimal output.

You will monitor inventory, ensure on-time delivery against CO dates, and collaborate with PMO, Production, Costing, Engineering and Quality to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• 1. Production planning based on customer orders and forecast.
• 2. Create PR & PO for direct materials and packaging includes IRA and forecast.
• 3. Prepare production scheduling plan from weekly and monthly outlook.
• 4. Plan overtime with production and relevant departments.
• 5. Provide CO commit to PMO and ensure 100% OTD per commit.
• 6. Provide customer order shipment commitment date to PMO within timelines.
• 7. Daily inventory monitoring focusing on IRA and VMI requirements.
• 8. Monitor JO released to production and JO closure.
• 9. Coordinate PMO, Production, Costing, Engineering and Quality to meet schedule requirements.
• 10. Provide subcontractor schedule and monitor inventory/delivery to meet CO date.
• 11. Carry out tasks from HOB to ensure timely submission.
• 12. Demonstrate proactive, self-directed attitude.
• 13. Attend EHS induction and identify workplace hazards to prevent incidents.
• 14. Contribute to EHS performance through programs and activities.
• 15. Adhere to EHSMS procedures and safety instructions.

Job description

1. To work on production planning and capacity planning base on customer order & Forecast.

2. Create PR & PO to purchase on Direct material and Packaging materials include IRA and forecast.

3. To prepare production scheduling plan based on weekly and monthly outlook.

4. To work on overtime planning with production and relevant department on the arrangement.

5. To provide CO commit to PMO. Ensure achieve 100% OTD per commit. Follow up thru the process progress status.

6. To provide customer order shipment commitment date to PMO within time line setting.

7. Daily monitoring Inventory status especially IRA and VMI requirements.

8. Monitor JO was released to production on the JO closed.

9. To co-ordinate between PMO, Production, Costing, Engineering and Quality to meet the schedule requireme

10. Provide Subcon schedule, monitor the inventory and delivery performance to meet the customer CO date.

11. To carry job assignment from HOB to ensure submission on time.

12. Proactive, self- directed attitude towards work.

13. Attend EHS induction training and competent on identifying hazards at workplaces to prevent work related incident

14. Make contributions on improving EHS performance through participation on the EHS programs and activitie

15. To adhere with EHSMS procedures and safety instructions and aware of its implication when not comply.
