Job summary

Bizlink Group in Penang, Malaysia, is seeking a Production Planner to oversee production scheduling and ensure timely delivery to customers. You will review Sales Orders, release work orders, and provide production schedules to the shop floor, coordinating closely with Sales and Purchasing.

The role requires a diploma or degree and Mandarin-speaking ability is preferred due to interactions with Mandarin-speaking colleagues or suppliers.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Commerce or related field.
• Mandarin fluency preferred due to interactions with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Review customer Purchase Order and commit Sales Department for delivery date in Sales Order Detail.
• Release Work Order upon receiving Sales Order Detail from Sales Department.
• Provide Production Schedule to production.
• Update Material Shortage Report, advise quantity order request and work with Buyer for raw material delivery date.
• Issue Material Issue Note (MIN) to Warehouse for preparing material for Production.
• Ensure work orders are completed in a timely, accurate manner; monitor materials fulfillment and WIP utilization.
• Implement production planning and monitor production output to meet customers' delivery date.
• Resolve any issues arising from issuance of raw material and minimize recurrence.

Job description

• To be responsible in reviewing customer Purchase Order and commit Sales Department for the delivery date in Sales Order Detail.
• To be responsible in release Work Order upon receive Sales Order Detail from Sales Department.
• To be responsible provide Production Schedule to production.
• To be responsible in updating Material Shortage Report, advise quantity order request and work closely with Buyer for raw material delivery date.
• To be responsible in issuing Material Issue Note ( MIN ) to Warehouse for preparing material for Production.
• To ensure work orders are completed in a timely, accurate manner. Monitor materials fulfillment and WIP utilization.
• To be responsible in implementing production planning and monitoring production output in order to meet customers requirement and delivery date.
• To be responsible and solved any issue arising from issuance of raw material. The Material Control shall resolve any excess issue, investigate the reasons for excess issues and create systems to minimize recurrence.
• Authorized not to create work order if no Sales Order.
• Authorized to not accepted customer pull in if full capacity and on hold production line if receive notice ECN or NonConformance.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess a Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Economics, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing, Commerce or equivalent.
