Job summary

Luxshare Precision (J) Sdn Bhd is seeking a procurement professional to manage supplier demand forecasting, generate purchase orders, and monitor delivery commitments to align with production schedules.

The role requires 2–3 years in purchasing within manufacturing, strong SAP/ERP experience, advanced Excel skills, and fluency in English and Mandarin to liaise with suppliers and partners. Also requires proactive communication and collaborative problem solving to maintain supply continuity.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of relevant experience in purchasing/procurement.
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• Hands-on SAP/ERP experience in purchasing and inventory.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with advanced functions.

Responsibilities

• Review demand and forecast and circulate to supplier for material planning.
• Generate P.O. to supplier and ensure P.O. acknowledgement.
• Delivery schedule planning and follow-up with supplier on delivery commitment.
• Monitor supplier deliveries to meet production schedule and build plan.
• Maintain inventory safety level and manage inventory effectively.
• Initiate meetings with supplier to discuss requirements or recovery plans.
• Escalate issues to superior for improvement.
• Coordinate with Logistics on import shipments.
• Weekly PO maintenance to ensure system data matches supplier.
• Process monthly SOA with supplier and coordinate with Finance.
• Communicate with supplier on SOA acknowledgement to support payment.
• Support on reports (CTB, Inventory, exposure or slow-moving).
• Update System PIR for commodity purchase.
• Maintain good supplier relationships.
• Support superior with assigned tasks.

Job description

Review Customer demand and forecast and circulate to Supplier for material planning

Generate P.O. to supplier and ensure P.O. acknowledgement from supplier

Delivery schedule planning and follow-up with supplier on delivery commitment

Monitor supplier' delivery to meet production schedule & build plan

Ensure safety level of inventory and with an adequate of inventory management

Initiate meeting with supplier to discuss on requirement or recovery plan should any shortfall arises. Prompt escalation to superior to attend the issue together for improvement

Liaise with Logistic Team to follow-up import shipment from overseas

Weekly PO maintenance to ensure system data is tally with supplier

Activate monthly SOA with supplier and coordinate with Finance Team

Communicate with supplier on SOA acknowledgement to support payment process

Support on report update, CTB, Inventory report, exposure or slow-moving report

System PIR update for commodity purchase

Maintain good relationship with supplier

Support superior with task assigned

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Logistics, Manufacturing, or a related field.

Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in purchasing/procurement, preferably within a manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in SAP/ERP systems, particularly in purchasing, material planning, purchase order, and inventory-related functions.

Good understanding of procurement processes, including purchase requisition, purchase order issuance, supplier confirmation, delivery monitoring, and material planning.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with advanced skills in functions

Proficiency in English and Mandarin is required due to need to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking suppliers and business partners.
