Job summary

SYNTIANT MALAYSIA MANUFACTURING SDN. BHD. is seeking a Distribution/Production Planner to oversee daily production scheduling, material planning, and NPI planning activities using Oracle.

The role focuses on delivering orders on time and maintaining data integrity in the system. You will collaborate with regional planners, load the master production schedule, and coordinate with shipping to meet OTD targets.

Qualifications

• Degree in Management, Economics, Industrial or equivalent.
• 3-5 years in production control or similar.
• Well versed in at least one MRP software.
• Practical knowledge is a must.

Responsibilities

• Plan daily production scheduling and shipment.
• Coordinate material planning and planning meetings.
• Liaise with distribution/shipping to meet OTD targets.
• Maintain data integrity in Oracle system.
• Manage finish goods inventory to target levels.
• Support NPI planning and special builds as required.
• Troubleshoot Oracle issues and run data analyses.

Job description

Perform overall planning activities which encompass daily production scheduling and shipment, material planning, facilitate and coordinate planning meetings/projects and system (Oracle) maintenance and perform NPI planning activities which encompass NPI material planning, risk buy coordination, finish goods build plan and follow up on material and product warrant.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

Collaborate with SCN (China) master planner for monthly model mix build plan and material planning

Loading the master production schedule in daily rolling basis basing on the capability.

Liaising with distribution team for any changes in meeting the customers’ orders and priority scheduling.

Working with shipping in making sure shipments are executed in meeting OTD target set.

Lead, coordinate or facilitate planning related meetings and projects.

Maintaining item attribute for planning in making sure the data integrity in system.

Managing finish goods inventory level to achieve the target set by management.

Managing special build requested by engineering, marketing or product application.

Working on Oracle related issues, trouble-shoots and analyses the system related issues.

10. Monitoring daily work orders attainment.

11. Managing Bulk and MRO material planning

12. Provide support and backup role to direct material & MRO planning

13. Performs any other duties assign from management

Lead, coordinate or facilitate NPI planning related meetings and projects.

Working with shipping and distribution team in making sure NPI shipments.

Collaboration with NPI engineer team, Master Planner and global planning manager for NPI finish goods build plan with consideration of capacity availability

Position Requirement

Education : Degree in Management, economics, Industrial or other relevant courses

Experience : At least 3-5 years’ working experience in field of production control.

Well versed in at least one type of MRP software.

Practical knowledge is a must

Skill : Good interpersonal skills

Good command of Mandarin is an added advantage

Technical Skills:

Advanced Excel (PivotTables, forecasting models)

Data analysis & reporting (Projection report)
