Job summary

Icon Sunsuria Sdn Bhd is seeking a Pharmacy Supply Chain and Purchasing Manager to oversee daily purchasing and distribution operations within our healthcare facilities.

You will source drugs, consumables, and medical equipment at optimal prices, negotiate vendor contracts for cost savings, and ensure GDP compliance with NPRA licenses while maintaining stock availability and minimizing waste.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy with at least 3 years of related experience in a health care facility.
• Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and take initiative.
• Proficient in SAP (or equivalent materials management system), MS Office Applications - specifically Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations of purchasing and distribution.
• Oversees drugs, consumables and/or medical equipment orders for the Group.
• Sourcing of drugs, consumables and/or medical equipment at the best possible price.
• Negotiate and establish contracts with vendors to obtain maximal cost savings.
• Manage stock inventory flow and transfers to ensure supply continuity with clinics.
• Maintain NPRA licenses and GDP compliance for the warehouse.
• Review the institutional drug formulary and new listings.
• Compile monthly and ad-hoc management reports.
• Lead inventory activities and audits with clinical and operations teams.
