Job summary

KLINIK PENAWAR (NEGERI SEMBILAN) SDN. BHD. seeks a detail‑oriented Inventory & Purchasing specialist to manage medicines and supplements stock, plan purchases, and maintain accurate records.

You will engage suppliers, analyze pricing, and ensure efficient procurement workflows within a healthcare setting. Ideal candidates hold a Diploma or Degree in Inventory Management or related field, and have experience with stocktakes, inventory systems, and strong negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Inventory Management, Supply Chain, Procurement, or an equivalent field.
• Knowledge of medicines, supplements, and inventory management.
• Relevant work experience in healthcare, pharmacy, supplement, retail, or related industry is an advantage.
• Experience in conducting and managing stocktakes.
• Good negotiation and bargaining skills, with the ability to obtain competitive prices and favourable terms.
• Meticulous, organised, and highly attentive to detail.
• Good attitude, positive behaviour, and willingness to adapt to the company's work culture.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team.
• IT-savvy and comfortable using inventory, purchasing, and computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage medicines and supplements stock levels at store and operation level.
• Plan and purchase medicines and supplements based on stock requirements and usage.
• Engage and communicate with suppliers regarding purchasing, availability, pricing, and delivery.
• Conduct Comparative analysis of supplier prices, products, and purchasing terms.
• Source and evaluate new suppliers to improve purchasing options and competitiveness.
• Negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive prices and favourable payment terms.
• Prepare stock orders and Purchase Orders (PO) through the AVIXO system.
• Maintain proper storage, arrangement, labelling, and expiry-date control of medicines and supplements.
• Conduct regular stock checks and major stocktakes to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Manage stock transfers and maintain accurate inventory records.
