AcePlus Pharmacy in Greater Johor Bahru is hiring a Pharmacy Assistant on a full-time, on-site basis. You will support pharmacists with prescriptions, prepare and label medications, handle stock, and assist customers at the counter while maintaining a friendly, professional environment.

The role requires local eligibility, relevant qualifications, and good English. Weekend or evening shifts may be required, with competitive monthly pay and extensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Local only
• SPM / STPM / Diploma in Pharmacy or related qualification
• Preferably more than 1 year of retail, healthcare, or customer service experience. Fresh graduates are welcomed!
• Prior pharmacy setting experience is a major plus.
• Ability to assist with prescription handling, medication preparation, and basic pharmacy operations.
• Strong customer service skills, with a focus on respectful communication and clear guidance.
• Good phone etiquette and professional handling of calls and inquiries.
• Experience or aptitude in inventory management, including stock checks and documentation.
• Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Basic computer literacy for point-of-sale and pharmacy management systems.
• Proficiency in English

Role Description

The Pharmacy Assistant (Johor Bahru) is a full-time, on-site role based in Greater Johor Bahru. This position supports pharmacists in handling prescriptions, preparing and labeling medications, and verifying information with care and accuracy. The role includes serving customers at the counter, providing basic product and service information, and ensuring a friendly and professional experience. Day-to-day tasks also involve managing stock levels, organizing shelves, checking expiry dates, and assisting with inventory records. The Pharmacy Assistant will answer phone inquiries, coordinate with healthcare providers when required, maintain a clean and orderly work environment, and follow all pharmacy policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Salary & Pay Structure

• Basic Salary: RM 2,500 – RM 3,500 per month (commensurate with qualifications and experience).
• Allowances & Incentives: Monthly attendance allowance, retail sales incentives, and target achievement incentives.
• Overtime (OT): Calculated strictly in accordance with the Malaysia Employment Act
