Job summary

All Day Pharmacy Sdn Bhd in Mydin USJ, Selangor, is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Assistant for a full-time role. You will support pharmacists, assist with dispensing medications, and provide friendly customer service at the counter.

You will maintain stock accuracy, process prescriptions, keep patient records confidential, and help with administrative tasks while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent.

About the role

All Day Pharmacy Sdn Bhd is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in Mydin USJ, Selangor. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in supporting our pharmacy operations and ensuring excellent service delivery to our customers. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will work closely with our qualified pharmacists and team members to maintain efficient pharmacy services, assist with medication dispensing, and provide outstanding customer support. This role is essential to our commitment to delivering safe, efficient, and customer-focused pharmaceutical care.

What you'll be doing

Assisting pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications according to prescriptions and pharmacy protocols

Receiving, checking, and organising pharmaceutical stock and supplies

Maintaining accurate records of inventory, sales, and customer transactions

Processing prescriptions and managing patient records with strict confidentiality

Providing customer service at the pharmacy counter, answering enquiries about medications and products

Labelling and packaging medications correctly and safely

Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the pharmacy workspace and shelves

Assisting with stock rotation and identifying expired medications

Supporting the pharmacist with administrative tasks and documentation

Ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations and health and safety standards

What we're looking for

A minimum of SPM (Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia) qualification or equivalent education

Strong organisational and attention to detail skills, with the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment

Customer service experience and the ability to interact professionally with patients and customers

Willingness to learn pharmaceutical practices and maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmacy operations

Honesty and integrity, with a commitment to patient confidentiality and data protection

Ability to work collaboratively with pharmacists and other team members

Physical capability to stand for extended periods and handle stock lifting and rotation

Prior pharmacy or healthcare experience is advantageous but not essential for motivated candidates
