Terrae® is building a more accessible, science-led pet healthcare ecosystem in Malaysia. We are looking for a Business Development Executive to establish our B2B and institutional sales channel.

This hands-on role involves opening doors, meeting decision-makers and turning initial conversations into long-term commercial relationships, with travel to meet customers within Malaysia. Full-time position based in Seri Kembangan, Selangor.

Qualifications

• Experience in business development or field sales or key account management.
• Proven record closing B2B sales.
• Confident speaking with business owners, buyers and professional teams.
• Strong follow-up habits, commercial judgment and clear written communication.
• Ability to plan customer visits and manage a sales pipeline independently.
• Willingness to travel for meetings within Malaysia.
• Experience in pet care, veterinary products, animal health, healthcare or consumer goods distribution is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Identify and approach veterinary clinics, pet retailers, distributors, groomers, boarding operators, shelters and other relevant organisations.
• Build a qualified prospect pipeline and arrange meetings, product presentations and follow-ups.
• Understand each partner’s needs and propose Terrae® products and commercial arrangements.
• Prepare quotations and partnership proposals, negotiate within approved terms, and close new accounts.
• Coordinate onboarding, first orders, product information and ongoing account support with the internal team.
• Develop repeat orders and account growth through regular visits and relationship management.
• Track leads, meetings, proposals, sales and customer feedback, and report progress against agreed targets.
• Work with product and regulatory teams to ensure all product information and claims used in sales materials are approved.
