Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an experienced Family Driver to provide safe transportation for the CEO and family, including three school-age children. The role involves planning routes, maintaining the vehicle, and assisting with errands as needed.

The driver should have a clean driving record, be comfortable using Waze and calendars, and be flexible to family schedules and after-school activities.

Qualifications

• Valid Malaysian driving licence with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience as a Family Driver, Personal Driver, Executive Driver, or similar role.
• Safe and defensive driving skills.
• Familiar with Klang Valley routes and traffic conditions.
• Experience driving children is an added advantage.
• Good communication and time management skills.
• Comfortable using Waze, Google Maps, WhatsApp, and shared calendars.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport the CEO and family members to appointments, school, and activities.
• Drive to airports, meetings, errands, and other family-related trips as required.
• Wait with children during classes or activities when needed.
• Plan routes using Waze/Google Maps to ensure punctual travel.
• Keep the family vehicle clean and in good condition; perform basic checks.
• Assist with grocery and pharmacy runs, parcel pickups, and related errands.
• Adapt to the family’s schedule and changes as they occur.

Job description

We are looking for a responsible, trustworthy, and experienced Family Driver to provide safe and reliable transportation for the CEO and family members, particularly three school-age children. The role will also involve basic vehicle care and assisting with occasional family errands.

Key Responsibilities

Family Transportation

Safely transport children to and from school, tuition, sports, music/enrichment classes, and social activities.

Drive the CEO, spouse, or family members to appointments, meetings, errands, and the airport when required.

Wait for children during classes or activities when required.

Plan routes using Waze/Google Maps to ensure punctual and efficient travel.

Keep track of school schedules, activities, appointments, and other transportation arrangements.

Monitor traffic conditions, road closures, and events that may affect travel time.

Vehicle Care & Maintenance

Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the family vehicle on a daily basis.

Perform basic checks on fuel, tyres, engine oil, battery, wipers, and other vehicle conditions.

Arrange vehicle servicing, repairs, tyre replacement, insurance, road tax renewal, and PUSPAKOM inspection when required.

Ensure the vehicle is always in a clean, safe, and roadworthy condition.

Assist with grocery and pharmacy collection.

Collect and send parcels or items for repair.

Assist with dry-cleaning collection and other reasonable errands when required.

Requirements
