Job summary

Private Advertiser in Penang seeks an experienced Personal Driver to provide safe, punctual transport for the employer and designated passengers.

You will plan routes with Waze/Google Maps, handle airport transfers, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and ensure road tax, insurance, and documents are up to date. Mandarin communication is preferred and a Malaysian licence with 3–5 years of experience is required.

Qualifications

• Requires Malaysian driving licence with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, punctual, comfortable transport.
• Plan routes using Waze and Google Maps with traffic updates.
• Remain contactable during working hours and handle airport transfers and errands.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and arrange servicing when needed.
• Ensure road tax, insurance and documents are up to date.
• Follow Malaysian traffic laws and maintain confidentiality.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and professional Personal Driver to provide safe, punctual, and reliable transportation for the employer and designated passengers.

Working Days: Monday to Saturday, including public holidays

Off Day: Sunday

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday: 7:30 AM - 7:30 PM

Saturday: 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM

Overtime or occasional after-hours duties may be required.

Responsibilities

Provide safe, punctual, and comfortable transportation.

Plan routes efficiently using Waze, Google Maps, and traffic updates.

Remain contactable and available during working hours.

Handle airport transfers, school runs, errands, parcel deliveries, and other ad-hoc duties.

Maintain the cleanliness and good condition of the vehicle.

Arrange vehicle servicing, repairs, and maintenance when required.

Ensure road tax, insurance, and vehicle documents are up to date.

Follow Malaysian traffic laws and practise safe driving.

Maintain strict confidentiality regarding the employer's personal, family, travel, and business matters.

Requirements

Valid Malaysian driving licence with a clean driving record.

Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a personal driver, chauffeur, or similar role.

Familiar with roads and routes in Penang and other parts of Malaysia.

Proficient in Waze and Google Maps.

Punctual, responsible, well-mannered, and professional.

Flexible to work overtime, evenings, weekends, and public holidays when required.

Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.

Mandarin-speaking preferred for communication with passengers/family members.

Non-smoker preferred.
