Qualifications

• Minimum SPM (Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia) or equivalent.
• Valid Malaysian driving license with a clean driving record.
• Preferably Malay or Indian Non-smoker.
• Willing and able to travel outstation as required.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport the director to meetings, events, and other locations.

• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure regular maintenance.
• Serve as primary dispatch when the director is out of the office.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Safely and punctually transport the director to various locations, including meetings, events, and other destinations.
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes, considering traffic and weather conditions for timely arrivals.
• Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and in good working order at all times, and ensure regular maintenance and servicing.
• Conduct routine checks and report any issues immediately.
• Serve as the primary dispatch personnel when the director is out of the country or not in the office.
• Assist other departments with urgent delivery or collection tasks, documents, packages, and other items during downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and receipts.
• Manage and log all dispatch activities to ensure proper tracking and accountability.
• Assist the director with personal errands and other tasks as needed.
• Coordinate with the personal assistant to support the director's schedule and logistical needs.
• Maintain a log of the director's travel details, expenses, and other relevant information.
• Ensure the safety and security of the director during transit.
• Handle all matters with the utmost confidentiality and discretion.
• Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and company policies.
• Be available for extended hours, weekends, and public holidays as needed.
• Handle any other tasks assigned by the Director or Management in a timely and professional manner.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum SPM (Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia) or equivalent.

WORKING EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a personal driver.
• At least 2 years of previous experience as a driver for a C-suite executive or above.
• Proven track record of reliability, punctuality, professionalism, and a strong safety record.
• Experience in handling confidential and sensitive matters is an added advantage.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Excellent driving skills and good knowledge of local traffic laws and routes.
• Basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong ability to manage time efficiently and handle multiple tasks.
• Ability to maintain discretion, confidentiality, and trustworthiness.
• Proficiency in using GPS and other navigation tools.
• Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays when required.
• Physically and mentally fit to perform driving and dispatch duties.
• Responsible, disciplined, punctual, and professional in appearance and conduct.
