Job summary

Private Advertiser in Malaysia is seeking a Personal Driver to provide dedicated transport for the Director across Klang Valley, based from Tropicana PJ and Subang Jaya. The role requires punctuality, discretion, and a professional demeanor to ensure safe, efficient travel.

Responsibilities include planning routes, performing routine vehicle maintenance, and complying with safety rules, with overtime and outstation travel as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 2–3 years’ experience in related field with clean driving records.
• Able to communicate in simple English.
• Medically and physically fit with no criminal record.
• Possess valid Class D driver’s license, clean traffic record and good driving skills.
• Willing to be based in Tropicana PJ and Subang Jaya area.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and report daily duties and routines for the Director.
• Design safe routes of travel and transport the Director to destinations.
• Be punctual at all locations during working hours and standby times.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance and arrange repairs; keep vehicle clean and roadworthy.
• Follow safety measures, obey traffic laws and avoid distractions.
• Keep passenger information confidential at all times.
• Travel to outstations when required.

Job description

We have an open position for a Personal Driver

Responsibilities:

Plans, manages and reports on daily duties and routines to protect the Director (and/or any other person as instructed by the Director).

Designs safe routes of travel and alternative back-up routes,and transport the Director (and/or any other person as instructed by the Director) to ensure safe and timely transportation to destination.

Present at all places punctually as may be stipulated or directed by the Director all time during working hours, and on stand-by time slot as designated by on-call schedule.

Perform simple maintenance work on the assigned vehicles, cleaning vehicle’s interior and exterior parts, setting schedule to send vehicle to automobile shops for repair and regular maintenance, conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle maintenance, reporting damage to ensure the vehicle is clean, free of damage and in rood worthy condition.

Follow all safety measures while driving including observing speed limits, obey all traffic and road signs, avoiding dangerous behavior such as answering to mobile phone to ensure safety of passenger(s) and full compliance with traffic rules and regulation

Performs all duties assigned honestly, diligently and professionally, as well as keeping passenger’s information strictly confidential at all time to maintain passenger confidence.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Primary/Secondary School/SPM/O”Level, any field.

At least 2 – 3 years’ experience in related field with clean driving records is required for this position. Previous experience in police/army/security forces is an added advantage.

Able to communicate in simple English.

Medically and physically fit with no criminal record.

Knowledge of self-defense techniques/martial arts/protective training from physical harm.

Excellent planning and problem-solving skills.Ability to act quickly in emergency situations.Discretion in sensitive environments.

Familiar with Klang Valley and Malaysia roads,able to operate GPS and has knowledge of route planning.

Possess valid “Class D” driver’s license, clean traffic record and good driving skills.

Candidate should be honest, punctuinal, and professional with good interpersonal, communication and time management skills.

Able to start work immediately or within short notice period is an added advantage.

Candidate should be willing to be based inTropicana PJ and Subang Jaya area.

Work days Mon – Fri (8.30am to 5.30pm), Sat (8.30am to 1pm).

Candidate should be willing to work beyond official hours with overtime pay and travel to outstation when necessary.
