Job summary

ZI LIAN (MALAYSIA) SDN BHD in Melaka seeks a reliable driver to chauffeur the Director to offices, meetings, sites, airports, and personal appointments. Plan routes, ensure punctual arrivals, and maintain strict confidentiality.

Frequent trips between Melaka and the Northern/Western regions of Malaysia, plus Singapore, on 2–3 day business trips. Flexibility with hours, a clean driving record, and valid licenses are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a driver, preferably for senior management/directors.
• Familiar with interstate routes (Northern & Western Malaysia) and cross-border trips to Singapore.
• Willing to work irregular hours, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, or public holidays.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are a prominent machinery and semiconductor solutions provider in Malaysia since 2014. We specializes in importing advanced semiconductor equipment from both overseas and local companies. We are looking for a Driver to join our team in Melaka.

Provide safe, punctual, and efficient chauffeur services for the Director to office, meetings, site visits, airport, and other business or personal appointments.

Travel frequently from Melaka to Northern & Western regions of Malaysia and Singapore for 2-3 days per business trip.

Plan routes in advance to ensure punctual arrival, considering traffic and road conditions.

Exercise discretion and maintain strict confidentiality regarding the Director's discussions, schedule, and activities.

Assist document deliveries and parcels when required.

Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel, tolls, parking.

Requirement:

Malaysian citizen, based in Melaka.

Possess a valid Malaysian driving license (\"Class D\") with a clean driving record.

Minimum 3 years' experience as a personnel or company driver, preferably for senior management / directors.

Familiar with interstate routes (Northern & Western Malaysia) and cross-border travel to Singapore.

Physically fit, punctual, trustworthy, and disciplined with strong time management.

Willing to work irregular hours, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, or public holidays when required.

High level of confidentiality, reliability, and professionalism.

Basic knowledge of vehicle troubleshooting and maintenance.

Valid international / cross-border driving permit (if required for Singapore).

5 days work 8.30pm - 6.30pm
