Job summary

TCL Infra Sdn. Bhd. in Penang seeks a diligent Driver to transport the Company Director to meetings and appointments, including outstation trips. Ensure timely, safe travel and keep the vehicle clean and well‑maintained. Proficient route planning using Waze or Google Maps is essential.

Candidates must hold a Malaysian driving licence, be punctual and trustworthy, and willing to work OT, weekends, or public holidays. Familiarity with Penang and KL areas is required, with confidentiality a must.

Qualifications

• Possess at least SPM or equivalent qualification.
• Possess a valid Malaysian driving licence and have a good driving record.
• Able and willing to travel outstation.
• Familiar with Penang, KL and surrounding areas.
• Proficient in using Waze and Google Maps.
• Punctual, disciplined, reliable and trustworthy.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends and public holidays.
• Able to maintain confidentiality.
• Physically fit.

Responsibilities

• Drive the Company Director to meetings, appointments and other destinations.
• Ensure timely and safe transportation of the Company Director to and from designated locations, including outstation trips.
• Keep vehicle interior and exterior clean and well‑maintained at all times.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is safe to drive.
• Plan routes to avoid traffic and navigate with Waze/Google Maps.
• Maintain records of receipts for vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Comply with traffic laws and speed limits.
• Work overtime, weekends or public holidays when required (OT pay provided).
• Do not use the company vehicle for personal purposes.
• Do not disclose confidential information; stay punctual, honest and trustworthy.
• Perform other duties as assigned and adhere to company rules and policies.

Job description

Drive the Company Director to meetings, appointments and other destinations

Ensure timely and safe transportation of Company Director to and from designated locations, including outstation trips

Ensure the interior and exterior of the vehicle are kept clean and well-maintained at all times

Conduct routine vehicle inspections at the designated intervals to ensure that the vehicle is in good condition and safe to drive

Be proficient in planning routes to avoid traffic congestion and demonstrate good knowledge of using Waze and Google Maps for navigation

Maintain and keep records of receipts for vehicle maintenance and repair expenses

Comply with all traffic regulations, applicable laws, and speed limits according to the respective areas

Work overtime, weekends or public holidays when required (OT pay provided)

Do not use the company’s or employer’s vehicle for personal purposes

Personal mobile phone conversations are strictly prohibited while driving

Do not disclose any confidential information relating to the company or employer

Demonstrate good character, honesty and be punctual in carrying out all duties and responsibilities

Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the company or employer

Comply with all company rules, procedures, practices, and policies
