Job summary

RIMEDYNE MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. seeks a reliable personal/corporate driver in Penang. You will transport the employer to meetings, airports, and events, plan routes with real-time traffic updates, and maintain confidentiality and vehicle condition.

Must hold a valid Malaysian licence, have a clean driving record, be proficient with Google Maps/Waze, and communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and basic English. Malaysian roads familiarity and discretion are essential.

Qualifications

• Possess valid Malaysian driving licence (Class D or relevant class).
• Clean driving record with good knowledge of Malaysian roads and highways.
• Familiar with navigation apps such as Google Maps and Waze.
• Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and basic English.
• Physically fit, punctual, trustworthy, and disciplined.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport the employer to meetings, offices, airports, and any events.
• Plan driving routes using traffic and weather updates to ensure punctual arrival.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding the employer's personal and business matters.
• Ensure the vehicle is clean, fueled, serviced, and in excellent working condition at all times.
• Conduct regular vehicle inspections and arrange maintenance or repairs when needed.
• Monitor road tax, insurance, PUSPAKOM inspection, and service schedules.
• Assist with loading/unloading luggage, documents, or company items when required.
• Run company or personal errands as instructed by the employer.
• Be available for overtime, weekend, public holiday, or outstation travel when necessary.
• Practice defensive and safe driving in compliance with Malaysian traffic laws.
• Keep accurate travel, mileage, fuel, and maintenance records.
• Wait on standby during meetings or appointments.
• Coordinate with office staff, security personnel, or personal assistants regarding schedules.
• Ensure privacy and security of passengers during transportation.
• Maintain professional appearance and good personal hygiene.
