Job summary

Testbits Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Performance Test Engineer to design and execute performance tests for large-scale systems. You will analyze results, identify bottlenecks, and establish benchmarks to validate behavior under peak load.

Collaborate with development, QA, infrastructure, and DevOps teams, preparing clear reports with actionable recommendations. A strong background in JMeter and API testing is required, with 3+ years in Telco or large-scale environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

Duties & Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Experience: Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in performance testing, specifically using JMeter in complex and integrated Telco systems or similarly large-scale environments.

Skills

• Solid expertise in Apache JMeter, with the ability to build advanced test plans, parameterization, correlation, and custom scripting.
• Strong understanding of HTTP/HTTPS protocols, web technologies, API performance testing, and backend systems.
• Hands-on experience with testing integrated systems, including middleware, third-party APIs, and backend databases.
• Familiarity with performance monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, New Relic, Dynatrace, or equivalent).
• Experience with CI/CD integration for performance testing (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Basic scripting or programming skills (e.g., Groovy, Python, or Shell) for test automation and analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Effective communication skills to present findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
