Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3-6+ years hands-on experience with LoadRunner (VuGen, Controller, Analysis).
• Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies and system performance metrics.
• Experience testing web, API-based, or enterprise-level applications.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like C (LoadRunner scripting).
• Familiarity with application and infrastructure monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana).
• Experience with SQL for database performance validation.
• Solid understanding of HTTP/HTTPS protocols, web servers, and middleware.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute performance test scripts using LoadRunner (VuGen, Controller, Analysis).
• Design performance testing strategies and plans based on architecture and requirements.
• Conduct load, stress, soak, spike, endurance, and scalability tests.
• Analyze results and identify bottlenecks with recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and infrastructure teams to resolve issues.
• Use monitoring tools to track system behavior during tests.
• Develop reusable scripts and handle data correlations.
• Document results, create reports, and present findings to stakeholders.
• Maintain test scenarios, scripts, and data as applications change.
• Participate in defect triage and root-cause analysis for performance issues.
