Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced Performance Tester to design, develop, execute, and analyse performance tests for web, mobile, API, and enterprise applications. You will work with development, DevOps, infrastructure, and database teams to improve performance and reliability.

The role involves designing test plans, scripts, and data, monitoring systems during tests, and ensuring readiness against SLAs and non-functional requirements.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience in Performance Testing.
• Hands-on experience with Apache JMeter and/or LoadRunner.
• Experience in load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing.
• Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, HTTP/HTTPS, web applications, and microservices.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Java, JavaScript, Groovy, or Python.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana.
• Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute performance, load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests.
• Develop and maintain test scripts using JMeter and/or LoadRunner.
• Create performance test plans, test scenarios, workload models, and test data.
• Analyze response time, throughput, error rates, and system resource utilization.
• Identify bottlenecks in applications, APIs, databases, servers, and infrastructure.
• Monitor application and server performance during test execution.
• Validate application performance against SLAs and non-functional requirements.
• Prepare performance test reports and provide optimization recommendations.
• Collaborate with Developers, QA, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams.
• Support integration of performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.
