Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a skilled Software Tester / QA Engineer to join our technology team in Malaysia. You will ensure the quality, reliability, functionality, and performance of software applications through manual and automated testing.

You will work closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and other stakeholders throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software testing experience.
• Knowledge of manual and automated testing.
• Exposure to API testing and basic SQL queries.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements to identify testing needs.
• Prepare detailed test plans, scenarios, cases and scripts.
• Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and UAT testing.
• Execute manual and automated tests on web and mobile apps.
• Log and track defects; re-test after fixes and perform regression testing.
• Collaborate with developers and business teams to resolve issues.
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman.
• Maintain QA documentation and QA reports.
• Support CI/CD testing activities and contribute to QA process improvements.
