Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to support automated testing across the release pipeline. The role involves building and maintaining automation for web and API testing, increasing coverage, and reducing manual test effort.

You will work with developers to ensure high-quality builds and streamline the release process within EPC DT. Applicants should have 5+ years of experience, familiarity with Playwright, SpecFlow, Postman, JMeter, JUnit/NUnit, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on testing across the software development lifecycle.
• Experience creating automation test scripts for web and API.
• Familiarity with frameworks/tools like Playwright, SpecFlow, Postman, JMeter, JUnit, NUnit.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git.
• Scripting experience with Python, pytest-bdd and pandas.
• Ability to understand complex applications and engineering knowledge.
• Ability to align automation strategies with business context.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers to maintain quality builds and perform release testing.
• Increase test coverage and reduce manual test cases through automation.
• Deliver automation within the software release process in EPC DT.
• Set up environments and deployment for system and integration testing; develop a pipeline standard.
