Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an ETL Software Tester / QA Engineer in Malaysia. The role focuses on validating software quality across web and mobile platforms, with emphasis on ETL processes, APIs, and database validation.

The candidate will work closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and other stakeholders throughout the SDLC, participate in Agile ceremonies, and support CI/CD testing activities to ensure releases meet defined quality criteria.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in ETL testing or QA for software applications.
• Proficient in manual and automated testing.
• Familiarity with API testing and SQL basics.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and functional requirements to derive test scope.
• Prepare and maintain test plans, scenarios, cases and scripts.
• Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and UAT testing.
• Execute manual and automated tests for web and mobile apps.
• Identify, document and track defects; verify fixes.
• Collaborate with developers and business teams during SDLC.
• Support CI/CD testing activities and QA process improvements.
• Ensure releases meet quality and acceptance criteria.
