Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• 5+ years of experience in operations, project management, or a performance/strategy function.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with high accuracy and low error rate.
• Strong written and verbal communication to produce concise briefing documents.
• Comfortable working directly with senior leaders and holding people accountable.
• High personal discipline and follow‑through without chasing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a live dashboard of all priorities, projects, and milestones across departments.
• Follow up with managers on outstanding deliverables and address execution gaps.
• Prepare for and conduct weekly leadership performance reviews with documented actions.
• Monitor alignment of projects and leader time with priorities and flag drift.
• Audit time allocation patterns and support time‑blocking discipline across leadership.
• Prepare briefing materials and progress summaries for informed decisions and post‑decision follow‑up.
• Prepare concise weekly and monthly performance reports on progress and trends.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations of the department and improve tools and processes used for execution oversight.

Job description

The Performance Manager is the operational backbone of the Performance & Strategy Department at SOLS Energy, ensuring leadership commitments are tracked, followed through, and delivered. Working directly under the Performance Director, this role surfaces execution risks early and keeps the organisation moving with clarity, accountability, and pace.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a live, accurate dashboard of all committed priorities, projects, and milestones across departments.
• Follow up directly with managers and leaders on outstanding deliverables and escape execution gaps to the Performance Director.
• Assist in preparing for and conducting structured weekly leadership performance reviews, documenting outcomes, actions, and owners.
• Monitor whether department projects and leader time allocation align with the company's stated priorities, flagging drift early.
• Audit leader time allocation patterns to protect strategic work, and support time‑blocking discipline across the leadership team.
• Prepare briefing materials and progress summaries to support informed decision‑making, and follow up post‑decision to confirm actions were implemented.
• Prepare concise weekly and monthly performance reports covering strategic progress, execution risks, and leadership trends.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations of the department and continuously improve the tools, templates, and processes used for execution oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Business, Management, Operations, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in operations management, project management, executive coordination, or a performance or strategy function.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously with high accuracy and a low error rate.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to produce clear, concise briefing documents and follow‑up summaries.
• Comfortable working directly with senior leaders and able to hold people accountable without being confrontational.
• High personal discipline and follow‑through, without dropping tasks or waiting to be chased.
• Proficient with tracking tools and productivity systems such as Google Sheets, HubSpot, and project management tools.
