Job summary

Motorola Solutions is hiring a New Grad PCB Design Engineer in Penang to design standard PCB and rigid-flex layouts from schematic through tape-out. You will work with Hardware, Mechanical, SI/PI, and Firmware teams to set design constraints and ensure manufacturability.

You will serve as the primary technical contact for vendors/contract manufacturers, driving DFM reviews and solving yield issues during prototyping and mass production.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical), Computer Science, Physics.
• Good understanding of RF and Digital layout requirements; familiarity with SI, EMC, crosstalk.

Responsibilities

• Standardize and execute advanced PCB and rigid-flex layouts from schematic to tape-out.
• Collaborate with Hardware, Mechanical, SI/PI, and Firmware teams to set constraints and routing guidelines.
• Serve as main technical contact for vendors and contract manufacturers, leading DFM reviews and resolving yield issues.
