Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Fresh Graduate PCB Design Engineer in Penang to design PCB and rigid-flex layouts from schematic capture through tape-out, ensuring DFM/DFA compliance. You will collaborate with Hardware, Mechanical, SI/PI, and Firmware teams to establish design constraints and resolve complex board-level issues.

As a new graduate, you will contribute to vendor collaborations, manage prototyping yields, and support mass production readiness, leveraging Cadence SKILL and other EDA

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical), Computer Science or Physics.
• Good understanding of RF and Digital layout, SI, EMC, crosstalk.
• Familiar with stack-up, impedance control and PCB fundamentals.
• Knowledge of fabrication, PCB technology and materials.

Responsibilities

• Standardize and execute advanced PCB and rigid-flex layouts from schematic to tape-out using top-tier EDA tools.
• Collaborate with Hardware, Mechanical, SI/PI and Firmware teams to set design constraints and routing guidelines.
• Serve as primary contact for vendor partners/contract manufacturers, drive DFM reviews and resolve EQs.
