Job summary

Motorola Solutions in Penang is seeking a New Grad Electrical HW Engineer to design and develop RF sub-circuits for professional and mission-critical markets. You will work on controllers, power management, LTE, Bluetooth and GNSS, closely collaborating with software teams.

You will perform electrical testing and validation, generate documentation, and contribute to continuous product improvements within a global organization that values safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Degree/Masters/PhD in Electrical (RF) / Electronics / Telecommunication / Communication Engineering
• Fresh or <1 year of RF/hardware design experience
• Ability to work independently
• Good oral and written communication
• Team-focused and self-motivated
• Strong debug skills with test-benches and hardware emulation
• Experience with RF and digital design areas such as LTE, Bluetooth, GNSS
• Familiar with CAD tools and RF design software (Mentor/Cadence/ADS/CST)

Responsibilities

• Design and development of RF sub-circuits for professional and mission-critical markets; including controllers, power management, LTE, Bluetooth and GNSS
• Familiar with integration between Hardware and Software teams
• Perform electrical testing and validation plans; generate detailed documentation for tests, failures and design changes
