Job summary

Motorola Solutions Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a new graduate PCB Design Engineer to join the PCB Design team in Penang. You will work on standardizing and executing advanced PCB layouts from schematic to tape-out, ensuring signal integrity, impedance control, and EMC considerations.

You will collaborate with Hardware, Mechanical, SI/PI, and Firmware teams to define constraints and resolve design trade-offs, while driving DFM reviews with vendors to prevent yield issues in prototypes and mass

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or CS with strong PCB layout knowledge.
• Understanding of RF/digital layout, impedance and EMC.
• Experience with PCB fabrication and DFM/DFA concepts.

Responsibilities

• Standardize and execute advanced PCB layout designs from schematic capture through tape-out.
• Collaborate with Hardware, Mechanical, SI/PI, and Firmware teams to define design constraints.
• Lead DFM reviews with vendors and contract manufacturers to resolve issues.
