Job summary

NCS Global Technology Sdn. Bhd. in Penang seeks an Electronics Hardware Design Engineer to interpret PRDs and design schematics using Cadence Allegro for reliable PCB layouts.

You will read datasheets, define schematic constraints, manage BOMs, and perform Power Integrity simulations to ensure PDN stability, DAC/PCB performance, and component sourcing. Strong teamwork and independent work ethic are valued.

Qualifications

• Read, interpret and apply component datasheets and engineering specs to guide schematic design.
• Perform PI (Power Integrity) simulations to assess PDN stability and decoupling.
• Define and manage schematic constraints and electrical design rules for PCB handoff.
• Prepare and maintain BOM with part numbers, descriptions, and sourcing options.
• Collaborate with PCB layout, procurement and cross-functional teams; work independently when needed.

Responsibilities

• Interpret PRDs and design specs to create accurate hardware schematic drawings.
• Read, analyze, and extract critical parameters from datasheets to guide design decisions.
• Prepare and manage schematic constraint files and electrical design rules for PCB handoff.
• Prepare, review, and maintain BOMs for manufacturing with sourcing options.
• Collaborate with design, layout, and procurement teams and own assigned tasks.
