Job summary

Benchmark Penang seeks an experienced hardware engineer to lead analog and mixed-signal PCBA design from concept through full production for contract manufacturing customers. You will drive signal conditioning, power management, and sensor interfacing, leveraging OrCAD, Allegro, and Altium tools.

The role requires a strong EMC and safety standards background, DFx expertise, and proven root-cause problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with 5+ years of design experience.
Expertise in signal conditioning, power electronics, schematic capture, and circuit simulation.
Strong background in EMC compliance, safety standards, and DFx methods.
Excellent written and spoken English; willingness to travel internationally.
Willingness to relocate to Penang.

Responsibilities

Lead analog and mixed-signal PCBA design from concept to production.
Drive signal conditioning, sensor interfacing, and power management design.
Perform SPICE simulations and enforce DFx practices.
Oversee EMC mitigation, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams on component selection and regulatory adherence.
Guide DFMEA/PFMEA, DOE, and 8D root-cause problem solving.
