On-the-job guidance will be provided for candidates who are new to Hong Kong payroll and visa processes.
The role requires on-site presence during the initial three-month period, subject to performance.
Thereafter, a hybrid working arrangement (3-days WFH) is available.
Office location: Petaling Jaya, Malaysia
Process monthly payroll accurately and on time, including salaries, overtime, allowances, deductions and other payroll adjustments.
Support MPF administration and Employer’s Return matters.
Maintain accurate payroll and employee records.
Prepare payroll reports and related documentation.
Respond to payroll enquiries and follow up on any payroll-related matters.
Keep up to date with relevant Hong Kong payroll and employment requirements.
Support Hong Kong employment visa, dependent visa and renewal applications.
Conduct initial assessments and collect the required information and supporting documents from clients and applicants.
Prepare and coordinate visa applications and submissions.
Liaise with clients, applicants, the Hong Kong Immigration Department and other relevant parties where required.
Maintain accurate records and follow up on the status of ongoing applications.
Communicate with clients and employees on payroll, visa and related HR matters.
Maintain employee records and tracking lists.
Support onboarding and other HR administration where required.
Assist with ad hoc HR and payroll matters as assigned.
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting or a related field.
At least 3 years of relevant payroll or HR operations experience.
Hands-on payroll experience is required. Experience in an outsourcing, shared services, professional services or multi-client environment would be an advantage.
Experience in Hong Kong payroll, MPF or visa administration is an advantage but not essential. Training and guidance will be provided.
Good numerical ability with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Comfortable handling confidential employee and payroll information.
Good organisational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Able to communicate effectively in English and Chinese (Mandarin) to support English- and Chinese-speaking clients.
Cantonese would be an advantage.
Willing to learn and develop knowledge of Hong Kong payroll, employment compliance and immigration matters.
Exposure to Hong Kong payroll, MPF, employment compliance and visa administration.
