Job summary

SRKay Consulting Group in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, seeks an experienced payroll professional to manage end-to-end payroll for multiple markets. You will consolidate inputs, validate results, and coordinate with vendors to ensure accurate and timely payouts.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in payroll, strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), and experience with multi-entity payroll. Knowledge of Oracle MyHR is a plus, and prior experience with outsourcing or shared services is advantageous.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of end-to-end payroll processing experience.
  • Experience managing regional payroll operations across multiple markets.
  • Proven experience handling payroll for 500+ employees.
  • Strong knowledge of statutory requirements, contributions, payments and tax.
  • Experience across two entities/markets is preferred.
  • Strong stakeholder management with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
  • Experience with Oracle MyHR is preferred.
  • Experience with Payroll EDP or other payroll vendors is an added advantage.
  • BPO / payroll outsourcing / shared services experience is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including preparation, validation, review and reconciliation.
  • Consolidate and validate payroll inputs from Local HR and relevant stakeholders.
  • Review payroll registers and coordinate with payroll vendors on adjustments and corrections.
  • Work closely with HR, Finance and external payroll vendors to ensure timely payroll payout.
  • Manage statutory contributions, payments, tax-related requirements and payroll reporting.
  • Prepare monthly and periodic payroll reconciliation reports.
  • Handle payroll queries and tickets from employees and internal stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
  • Support annual reporting, tax filings and other payroll-related projects or ad-hoc reporting.

Job description
