Job summary

Hirehub, a leading manufacturer in the data center and power systems sector, is seeking a payroll and HR operations professional to manage monthly payroll, statutory submissions, and HRIS updates. The role requires experience with Malaysian payroll rules, EPF/SOCSO/EIS, and strong numerical and communication skills.

The incumbent will maintain accurate records, handle onboarding/offboarding, and ensure compliance with local regulations while supporting HR reporting and related projects.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in HR, business admin, accounting, finance or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in payroll and HR operations.
• Hands-on experience with Malaysian payroll and statutory requirements.
• Familiar with EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB/MTD and HRD Corp.
• Experience with HRIS/payroll systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong numerical skills, attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Good communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and meet strict payroll deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly payroll processing, including salary, overtime, allowances, claims and deductions.
• Handle statutory submissions including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB/MTD and HRD Corp.
• Maintain accurate employee payroll, attendance, leave and personal records.
• Verify payroll inputs and prepare payroll reports, payslips and related documentation.
• Handle employee enquiries regarding payroll, statutory contributions and related matters.
• Assist with employee onboarding, offboarding and final salary calculations.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian employment and statutory requirements.
• Support HRIS/payroll system updates, HR reporting and other HR-related projects.
