Job summary

Ernst & Young Advisory Services Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an Associate/Senior Associate for Tax PAS - Payroll Operate Services. You will deliver payroll processing for Malaysia statutory requirements and support payroll data collection and submission with accuracy.

You will work with a team to ensure confidentiality of client relationships and respond to queries from clients and internal stakeholders in a timely manner, while maintaining up-to-date payroll processes and documentation.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in related field.
• 1 to 2 years of work experience in local payroll / human resources experience.
• Understanding of payroll or other related finance activities.
• Detail oriented with strong numeric skills and be capable to work independently in a fast pace operational environment.
• Excellent knowledge of computer skill including MS Office and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly payroll in accordance to the Malaysia statutory requirements.
• Ensure the timely and accurate collection, calculation and submission of monthly payroll data.
• Demonstrate professionalism through a positive and cooperative attitude and by maintaining the confidential and proprietary nature of client relationships and related work products and responding to queries from clients and internal stakeholders on a timely manner.
• Ensure the payroll processes/procedure documentation is relevant, up-to-date and is used at all times.
• Take ownership of tasks while having a strong ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.
