Job summary

ADP in Malaysia is seeking a payroll specialist to review and process client payroll transactions end-to-end. You will ensure accurate month-end and year-end processing, validate payroll data, and confirm statutory obligations are met.

The role requires strong Excel skills, effective written and verbal communication, and the ability to learn payroll software quickly for a client-centric service model.

Qualifications

• At least 2 - 4 years of experience in processing end to end Malaysia payroll.
• Ability to showcase working knowledge on Excel is expected.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Good knowledge in Social Security, Taxation and Money movement/ lodgment is desired.
• Strong mathematical ability and aptitude to learn the payroll software application.

Responsibilities

• Review and process client’s payroll transactions efficiently within defined SLA’s.
• Conduct timely and accurate processing of cyclical events including month end, statutory reports and year end related activities.
• Ensure validation of payroll data.
• Ensure ADP performs payroll services based on client requirements while validating that ADP meets required statutory obligations.
• Adhere to ADP’s quality standards, policies & procedures.
• Adhere to quality checks and controls, as the reports, inputs and processing done by you

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

• A strong focus on client satisfaction in a relevant industry or as an HR/HRIS practitioner with systems experience is required
• Strong client relationship building skills
• Must be comfortable working in a performance-based and structured environment while demonstrating high ethical standards
• Ability to demonstrate learning agility and critical thinking skills, including sophisticated Human Capital Management areas (HR, Payroll, Tax, etc.) and software related information in both a classroom and in a hands-on environment
• Ability to learn and apply basic concepts in new situations
• Initiative to seek out answers, solutions, and positive outcomes for both the client and ADP
• Demonstrated organizational skills including the ability to multi-task, set priorities, and follow up in a timely manner
• Proficient in the latest web technologies and working knowledge of various operating systems
• A history of successful performance in one of the following operational, implementation or client service positions: Coordinator/ Specialist/ Tax Service Coordinator/Account Executive
• Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment as well as work independently while making sound decisions
• Good knowledge of industry tools

• Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
