Job summary

METTLER TOLEDO is seeking a Payroll Executive in Malaysia to manage end-to-end payroll processing, statutory compliance, payroll reporting, and employee support with accuracy and discretion.

You will handle monthly payroll, statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB), maintain records, and generate audit-ready reports. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in Malaysian payroll, understanding of local laws, exposure to SAP HCM or SAGE, and experience in an MNC environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in HR/Finance/Accounting or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in Malaysia payroll processing and statutory compliance.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment law, payroll practices and statutory requirements.
• Experience in a multinational corporation (MNC) environment.
• familiarity with SAP HCM and Access SAGE payroll systems is an added advantage.
• Experience supporting payroll audits and compliance reviews.

Responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll accurately within established timelines.
• Ensure correct calculation and submission of statutory contributions including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and PCB/MTD.
• Maintain accurate payroll records in compliance with company policies and relevant legislation.
• Manage payroll data and employee records while ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.
• Manage payroll statutory and tax compliance, ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements.
• Oversee statutory contributions, tax submissions, and annual reporting activities.
• Maintain compliance documentation and support audits, investigations, and regulatory enquiries.
• Prepare and reconcile monthly payroll journals and ensure alignment with finance records.
• Generate payroll reports for management, audits, and statutory submissions.
• Serve as the primary contact for payroll-related enquiries from employees.

• Manage payroll statutory and tax compliance, ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements.
• Oversee statutory contributions, tax submissions, and annual reporting activities.

What You Need to Succeed

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Malaysia payroll processing and statutory compliance.
• Good understanding of Malaysian employment legislation, payroll practices, and statutory requirements.
• Experience working in a multinational corporation (MNC) environment.
• Familiarity with SAP HCM and Access SAGE payroll systems is an added advantage.
• Experience supporting payroll audits and compliance reviews.
