Job summary

MYWave Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a payroll professional to handle monthly payroll processing, including salaries, overtime, incentives, and deductions. You will ensure accuracy, timeliness, and statutory compliance while maintaining payroll records.

The role requires knowledge of local payroll regulations, experience with Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and the ability to generate payroll reports and statutory submissions.

Qualifications

• Diploma or advanced diploma in HRM, Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent; 2+ years in payroll is a plus.
• Fresh graduates may apply.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (lookup, pivot tables, formulas) and local payroll laws.

Responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll including salary, overtime, incentives, bonuses, allowances and leaves.
• Ensure payroll accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with guidelines.
• Prepare statutory reports (Income Tax, EPF, Socso, HRDF) and payroll-related GL/costing summaries.
• Maintain employee data in payroll system and deliver error-free payroll documentation.

Job description

Process monthly payroll, which include salary, overtime, incentives, bonuses, allowances, leaves, taxes and various payroll deductions as well as maintain payroll records.

Responsible to perform analytical reviews on payroll transaction to identify errors and adhere to payroll compliance guidelines.

Accurate completion of payroll processes and ensuring that all delivery timelines are complied. Day to day payroll related matter is carried out systematically & timely.

Able to maintain and prepare Government Statutory Report, such as Income Tax, EPF, Socso and HRDF. Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and to keep abreast of current legislation.

Prepare all pay related reports and GL /Costing summary according to scheduled timelines.

Conduct checks to ensure that the employee information updates are well maintain in payroll system.

Qualifications:

Fresh graduates or with working experience in payroll processing.

Possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent or with 2 years and above working experience in the related fields.

Required skill(s): Microsoft Office skills including proficiency in Excel (vlookup, pivot table, formulas).

Conversant in local employment laws and related statutory regulations.

Experience in a Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) Industry is an added advantage.
