ByteDance is seeking an HR Operations professional to support APAC payroll and HR services. This role focuses on scalable processes, accurate payroll, and timely responses to employee and business needs across the region.

The successful candidate will work with HR Business Partners and payroll vendors, ensuring compliance with local regulations and delivering a positive employee experience. They will engage in ongoing process improvements and data-driven reporting.

Responsabilités

• Monthly end-to-end payroll activities including collating inputs, outputs and statutory reporting.
• Participate in improving and implementing payroll processes and systems for efficiency and accuracy.
• Support payroll and benefits processes landing according to new policies or regulatory changes.
• Provide payroll reporting and analysis and assist with internal and external audits.
• Manage payroll vendors and adhere to contracts and SLAs.
• Develop relationships with local authorities (e.g., Social Security, Tax).
• Partner with HR Business Partners and HR Operations to elevate employee experience.

The HR Operations - APAC team delivers reliable, people-focused HR services that support employees and business teams across the region. We help turn company policies and programs into consistent, practical experiences throughout the employee lifecycle.

Operating across diverse markets means balancing regional consistency with local regulations, practices, and employee needs. The team works across functions to improve processes, resolve operational issues, and ensure employees receive accurate and timely support.

You will help shape scalable HR operations in one of the world’s most dynamic regions, improving everyday employee experiences while enabling teams to work effectively and grow with confidence.

• Manage payroll vendors effectively by strictly adhering to the contract and SLA;
• Develop relationships with local authorities, not limited to Social Security, Tax, etc;
• Partner and work collaboratively with HR Business Partners and the HR Operations team to elevate employee experience.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Individuals who are completing or have recently completed a Bachelor's degree in any field of study;
• Sensitivity to numbers and are comfortable working with data;
• Good collaborator and team player;
• Comfortable working in a fast paced environment;
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualification

• Basic understanding of payroll processes is a plus.
