Job summary

Maybank is seeking a senior Operations professional to own the remittance, processing and reconciliation baseline across RENTAS, IBG, DuitNow/QR, SWIFT, and bulk payments. You will re-engineer processes, define target operating models, controls, and accountable owners while leading cutover, readiness, and hypercare activities.

With end-to-end accountability for a payments domain, you will drive governance, training, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure stable operations and measurable

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Lean Six Sigma or recognized payments qualifications are advantageous.
• Experience in payments with end-to-end accountability for a process area is expected.

Responsibilities

• Own the current-state baseline for remittance, processing and reconciliation across RENTAS, IBG, DuitNow / QR, SWIFT, bulk payments and rail gateways.
• Re-engineer and standardise processes before configuration; define target operating model and controls.
• Own cutover, contingency, readiness and hypercare exit; ensure tests pass and no critical defects remain.
• Update SOPs and train designated users; establish governance to run platform sustainably.
• Serve as the bank’s accountable domain expert for the new platform and governance.
