Job summary

BPO SDN BHD in Malaysia is seeking a committed payments follow-up agent to contact customers via phone and WhatsApp to collect outstanding payments. The role offers 5- or 6-day weeks with rotational off and leave, and training is provided.

Fluency in Bahasa Melayu, English, and Bahasa Cina is preferred; English and Bahasa Melayu are acceptable. Full-time position with incentives and referral rewards available.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service or call follow-up experience is preferred.
• Good communication skills and patience.
• Able to speak Bahasa Cina, English and Bahasa Melayu. English and Bahasa Melayu acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Contact customers via phone calls and WhatsApp to follow up on payments.
• Send payment reminders and assist repayment arrangements.
• Follow up on promised repayment dates and payment commitments.
• Monitor accounts and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding payments.
• Handle inquiries and resolve payment-related issues professionally.
• Maintain records of communications, payment updates and follow-up activities.
• Monitor daily work progress and achieve assigned targets.
• Work with team to improve recovery performance and collect results.
• Identify challenges in follow-ups and provide solutions to improve recovery rates.
• Ensure all interactions comply with company policies and procedures.
