Job summary

OPTIMUM INFOSOLUTIONS (M) SDN BHD is seeking an experienced Business Analyst – Payment Integration to join our Kuala Lumpur team on a contract basis. You will bridge business needs with technical implementation for payment integration projects, gathering requirements, and producing functional specifications.

You will collaborate with stakeholders and developers, define test criteria, and help optimise payment workflows to deliver reliable solutions for clients in Malaysia and beyond.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Analytics or a related field.
• 3–5 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst, with exposure to payment systems or payment integration projects.
• Strong understanding of payment processing flows, gateways, and integration protocols (APIs, SWIFT, ISO standards).
• Proficiency in requirements gathering, analysis and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and document detailed business requirements for payment integration projects, working with stakeholders, clients and internal teams.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to gather and prioritise payment integration requirements.
• Create functional and technical specifications for payment integration systems and solutions.
• Develop process flow diagrams, data models and system architecture documentation related to payment integration.
• Liaise between business stakeholders and development teams to translate requirements into deliverables.
• Define test strategies and acceptance criteria for payment integration implementations.
