Job summary

Ghim Li invites a diligent pattern maker to join our team to create paper patterns from garment designs and specs, and to perform grading for various sizes. You will ensure accuracy and maintain pattern records throughout development.

Collaborate with Design, Sample, Production and Merchandising teams to meet sample requirements, address fitting issues, and uphold quality standards across all patterns.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM / Certificate / Diploma in Fashion Design, Apparel, Garment Technology, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in paper pattern making and grading, preferably in garment/textile industry.
• Fresh graduates with relevant education or training may also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop paper patterns based on garment designs, measurements, and specifications.
• Perform pattern grading for different garment sizes accurately.
• Modify and adjust patterns according to fitting comments and sample requirements.
• Ensure all patterns meet required measurements, specifications, and quality standards.
• Prepare and maintain pattern records, size specifications, and related documents.
• Collaborate with Design, Sample, Production, and Merchandising teams for smooth product development.
• Check pattern accuracy before releasing patterns for sampling or production.
• Identify and resolve pattern or fitting issues during sample development.
