Job summary

Ghim Li invites a diligent pattern maker to join our team to create paper patterns from garment designs and specs, and to perform grading for various sizes. You will ensure accuracy and maintain pattern records throughout development.

Collaborate with Design, Sample, Production and Merchandising teams to meet sample requirements, address fitting issues, and uphold quality standards across all patterns.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM / Certificate / Diploma in Fashion Design, Apparel, Garment Technology, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in paper pattern making and grading, preferably in garment/textile industry.
• Fresh graduates with relevant education or training may also be considered.

• Prepare and maintain pattern records, size specifications, and related documents
• Work closely with the Design, Sample, Production, and Merchandising teams to ensure smooth product development
• Check pattern accuracy before releasing patterns for sampling or production
• Identify and resolve pattern or fitting issues during the sample development process
• Ensure patterns are properly labelled, organized, and maintained for future reference

About you

• Minimum SPM / Certificate / Diploma in Fashion Design, Apparel, Garment Technology, or related field
• 1–3 years of experience in paper pattern making and grading, preferably in the garment/textile industry
• Good knowledge of garment construction, measurements, fitting, and pattern grading
• Able to read and understand garment specifications and technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Good problem-solving and communication skills
• Experience with CAD pattern-making software will be an added advantage
• Fresh graduates with relevant education or training may also be considered
