Job summary

KPJ Centre For Sight in Kuala Lumpur seeks an Administrative/Customer Service staff to handle patient registration, follow-up, and GL processing. You will support billing, stock management, and daily records, with the ability to explain eye services to patients over counter and phone.

The role involves scheduling, basic ophthalmic testing, and assisting in events; 1–2 years of customer service experience in healthcare or retail is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma required in a related field (Business Admin / Customer Service / Healthcare Management).
• 1–2 years of working experience in customer service, preferably in healthcare or retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Handle patient registration and follow-up.
• Prepare documents and GL application; liaise with Insurance Company as needed.
• Schedule patient appointments per consultant schedule.
• Over-the-counter and phone inquiries: explain eye conditions or services.
• Manage office supplies and stock levels; coordinate with purchasing and pharmacy.
• Maintain neat medical room records and ensure accurate billing and cash closure.
• Take basic visual acuity and operate auto-refractor. Discharge/dispense medications.
• Collect patient feedback and assist in events as needed.
