Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in business development, partnerships, account management, merchant acquisition, SME marketing or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and relationship-building skills.
• Confidence in engaging business owners, merchants and potential partners.
• Good organizational skills with disciplined follow-up.
• Willingness to travel locally for meetings.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage potential merchants, SMEs, business associations and strategic partners.
• Conduct outreach, arrange meetings and follow up on business opportunities.
• Build relationships with e-commerce merchants, agencies, consultants and relevant industry communities.
• Explore partnership opportunities, referrals, joint campaigns and community initiatives.
• Support merchant engagement, product demonstrations and early-access programmes.
• Coordinate networking activities, workshops, webinars and other SME engagement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate prospect records and track engagement and opportunity progress.
• Gather merchant feedback and share market insights with the marketing team.
