Job summary

SEGi University in Kota Damansara, Selangor, invites applications for a Lecturer in Quantity Surveying. You will review, develop and deliver lectures, supervise final year projects, and assess student work.

You will also provide academic counselling and engage in research activities to advance the department's goals. Requirements include an MSc and BSc in Quantity Surveying, registration with BQSM as PQS/CQS, and strong English language skills.

Qualifications

• Master degree in Quantity Surveying and a Bachelor Degree in Quantity Surveying.
• Registered with BQSM as PQS/CQS.
• Excellent proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Good understanding of MQA requirements and Outcome-Based Education (OBE).
• Familiarity with digital learning platforms such as MS Teams, Moodle, or equivalent systems.
• Industrial experience is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Review, update and develop lesson plans, scheme of work, lectures, practicals and tutorials in line with the syllabus.
• Conduct lectures, tutorials and discussions to facilitate teaching and learning.
• Supervise final year project/dissertation and undergraduate student projects.
• Set and mark the assessments.

• Conduct research and produce publications or other research output.
