Job summary

PT Indo Partners Plantation Services seeks a Visiting Engineer based in Pontianak, Indonesia. The incumbent will visit mills to provide independent reporting on mill status, procedures, safety, security, quality and cost control, and administrative management.

They will audit operations for SOP conformity, promote RSPO/ISPO best practices, coach staff, transfer know-how, and travel frequently to facilities as required. Expatriates are welcome and travel is extensive.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• At least 20–25 years in the palm oil plantation industry.
• 8+ years in senior management is required.

Responsibilities

• Audit and review operations to ensure SOP conformance.
• Promote RSPO/ISPO-aligned best practices and safety controls.
• Act as advisor and coach to staff, transferring knowledge and skills.
• Prepare independent reports on production, cost variances, and compliance.
• Travel frequently and be based in Pontianak, West Kalimantan.
