Job summary

Hirehub Group is seeking a dedicated Planning / Scheduling Engineer to manage project schedules for prefabricated data center solutions. The role involves coordinating with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure schedule accuracy and timely reporting.

The position requires 2–5 years of planning experience, proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project, and strong analytical and communication skills. Based in Klang, Selangor, with open salary negotiation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in engineering or construction management.
• 2–5 years planning/scheduling experience in construction or engineering.
• Proven use of Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Strong Excel proficiency and CPM knowledge.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Able to work independently and under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure schedule accuracy.
• Monitor progress, identify delays, and propose recovery plans.
• Prepare progress reports (S-curves, histograms, CPM).
• Integrate schedule data with cost and resource plans.
• Support tender planning and baseline programs.
• Conduct what-if analyses and ensure compliance with planning standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 & Microsoft Project
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure schedule accuracy.
• Monitor project progress, identify delays, and propose recovery plans.
• Prepare and present project progress reports (S-curves, histograms, critical path analysis).
• Integrate schedule data with cost and resource plans.
• Support tender planning and prepare baseline programs.
• Conduct what-if analyses to assess potential project changes.
• Ensure compliance with client and company planning standards.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years experience in planning/scheduling within the construction or engineering industry.
• Proven experience using Primavera P6 & Microsoft Project software.
• Strong knowledge of Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel.
• Understanding of EOT (Extension of Time) and Critical Path Method (CPM).
• Knowledge of resource loading, progress measurement, and project controls.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Able to work independently and under pressure.
